The annual combined capacity of Nile Breweries Limited with two plants in Jinja and Mbarara stands at 3.0 million hectoliters of beer, making NBL the No 1 provider of locally produced beer in Uganda.

Operator Jobs– Nile Breweries Limited
Job Description
Nile Breweries Limited is a leading beverage company in Uganda and a subsidiary of SABMiller, the second largest brewing group in the world. We aim to provide for a variety of career paths and patterns of working, a good work-life balance and comprehensive employee benefits.
Job Summary: The key purpose of this role is to to safely operate and maintain brewing processes in order to achieve optimal effectiveness in line with our VPO standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Interpret and implement production plan for shift
Operate manual and automatic machines as per standards
Monitor production processes on shift and apply the required reaction plans
Execute ATO activities adequately
Complete all the required shift documentation including all the Operator work station and team room updates timely
Contribute to self and team development
Apply 5S standards and practices in the workplace
Operate and control the process according to the SOPs
Manage quality at source
Do problem solving for deviations from specifications arising during the shift using the 5 WHYs and QFR’s as per triggers
Contribute towards AB reports as shall be required
Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Competencies
Min: Higher/Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Science.
BSc in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Chemistry and any other related science courses.
Experience
At least 1 year working experience preferably in FMCG Industry
