Participate in the writing of Verification & Control Activity Report (VCAR), defining Scope of work & budget on coating subject.

If needed, carry out inspection of installation & commissioning activities as per approved coating procedure.

Supervision of sandblasting and paint application following approved methodology and the applicable standard.

Must be able to work with foremen, supervisors, and administrative staff to manage the implementation and/or continuance of safe work practices, operations, and overall function of the facility.

Ability to recognize and evaluate weld discontinuities, areas of improvement, and other weaknesses in all products.

Ability to perform tests and measurements on products and should be able to read drawings.

Ensure the integrity and traceability of all associated painting and insulation activities including blasting, coating, and curing, weatherproof jacket installation etc.

Verify that all vessels, tanks, and other product lines comply with all relevant coating quality standards and regulations (i.e. ASME and API, NACE etc.).

Review and approve all related procedures, reports and records of painting & insulation including surface preparation, internal and external coating and inspection, insulation material handling, installation etc.

Witness and supervise all activities such as insulation surface preparation, binding and covering etc. based on the related procedures, design requirements and applicable codes etc.
