About the Organisation
Bukomansimbi District is one of the three Districts split from greater Masaka. It started operating officially on 1st July 2010. It is comprised of two counties; Bukomansimbi South and Bukomansimbi North. The district has got 5 sub/counties that is; Kibinge, Bigasa, Kitanda, Butenga, Bukango sub/counties and 4 Town Councils that is; Bukomansimbi Town Council,Kigagazzi Town Council,Kagalogolo Town Council and Butenga Town Council .

Job Description
Applications from suitably qualified Ugandans are invited to fill the following vacancy within Bukomansimbi District Local Government.

Duties and Responsibilities
Student Achievement and Welfare:
Monitor and promote student academic performance and well-being.
Implement programs to support students' social and emotional development.
Address student behavioral issues and enforce discipline policies.
Parental and Community Engagement:
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Encourage parental involvement in school activities and decision-making.
Build partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
Administrative Duties:
Manage the school's budget and financial resources.
Ensure the maintenance and safety of school facilities.
Keep accurate records and prepare reports for education authorities.
Compliance and Accountability:
Ensure the school complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
Implement and monitor school improvement plans.
Conduct self-evaluations and prepare for external inspections.
Qualifications and Competencies
A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
A master's degree in educational leadership, administration, or a related field is often preferred.
Teaching certification and headship training or certification, if applicable.
Experience:
Several years of teaching experience at the primary school level.
Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role within a school is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective educational programs.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using educational technology and administrative software.
