About the Organisation
CNOOC International is one of the largest oil and gas companies in Uganda's energy sector and owns one-third interests in each of Exploration Areas (EA) EA1/1A, EA2 and Kingfisher. Our partners are Total E&P Uganda (33.3%) and Tullow Oil (33.3%). CNOOC International operates the Kingfisher production license.
These blocks, located in the Lake Albert Rift Basin, are in one of the most promising basins for oil and gas resources in Africa.
In 2016, development and production licenses for eight oil fields in the EA 1 and EA 2 blocks were issued by the government. In 2017, the front-end engineering design (FEED) of the blocks was initiated and the intergovernmental agreement for an oil pipeline was signed and the FEED was completed.
CNOOC International also completed the FEED for ground construction and drilling on block EA 3A in 2017.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Organize weekly inspections of office premises to identify potential hazards and areas of improvements.
Responsible for timely response and resolution of office facility related issues.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining office access control.
Maintain proper and accurate monthly readings of the floor meters.
Monitor and ensure the office premises are well-maintained and clean at all times.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records with use of stock cards.
Maintain an updated asset registry and coordinate any asset movements.
Coordinate regular stock taking for consumables and ensure no shortage.
Coordinate the purchase and distribution of consumables and company branded items.
Support in handling meeting room requests and bookings and ensure no clash meetings.
Assist in drafting asset and facilities management policies and procedures.
Support in carrying out asset audit on existing company assets and reconciling existing assets.
Assist to prepare assets and consumable related budgets and monitor utilization.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Superiors.
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or the equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry in a Multinational or International Company.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational, communication skills.
Excellent comprehensive analytical ability.
Excellent multitasking ability.
Good command of both written and spoken English.
