Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive at ABC sales consulting ltd located in Kampala on behalf of our client. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals. You will also be responsible for meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Research: Identify potential customers and industries that could benefit from the product or service.

  • Cold Calling/Emailing: Reach out to prospects via phone calls, emails, or other means to initiate contact and generate interest.

  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and generate leads.


Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services that align with those needs.

  • Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of the products or services.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.


Sales Process Management:

  • Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

  • Follow-up: Follow up on leads and opportunities in a timely manner to move them through the sales funnel.

  • Closing: Close sales and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.


Customer Support and Satisfaction:

  • After-Sales Service: Provide post-sales support and assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively to maintain positive relationships.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.

Feedback: Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and improve sales strategies.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Prior experience in sales or a related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good knowledge of the market and industry trends

  • Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
