About the Organisation
Ndere Troupe was founded by Rwangyezi Stephen in 1984 as a cultural organization dedicated to promoting universal unity through music, dance, and drama. As one of over 1,600 groups within the Uganda Development Theatre Association, the troupe is committed to entertaining and educating audiences through its dynamic performances.
The name "Ndere" means "flute," and thus, Ndere Troupe translates to "Flute Troupe." Job Description
We are seeking skilled and experienced Light and Sound Technicians to join our technical team at Ndere Cultural Centre. As a Light and Sound Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting and sound equipment for various events, performances, and productions. If you have a passion for technical production and delivering high-quality events, we encourage you to apply!
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain lighting equipment, including consoles, dimmers, and fixtures.
Program and execute lighting cues for performances and events.
Collaborate with lighting designers and directors to achieve desired effects.

Qualifications and Competencies
Diploma or degree in technical production, lighting, sound, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in lighting
