Job Description
The engagement manager is often the primary point of contact for clients. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction with the services provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: The engagement manager is often the primary point of contact for clients. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction with the services provided.
Project Management: They oversee the execution of projects related to application management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This includes defining project scope, creating project plans, allocating resources, and managing risks.
Resource Management: Engagement managers are typically responsible for managing the team of professionals assigned to work on client projects. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to meet client needs.
Financial Management: They are often responsible for managing the financial aspects of client engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking project expenses. They ensure that projects are profitable and that financial targets are met.
Risk Management: They identify and manage risks associated with client engagements, including technical, operational, and financial risks. This involves developing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to address potential issues.
Quality Assurance: Engagement managers are responsible for ensuring that the services provided meet quality standards and exceed client expectations. This may involve implementing quality assurance processes, conducting regular reviews and audits, and addressing any issues that arise.
