Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced startup environment. The role will be focused on testing our products as part of our development lifecycle this will include regression and exploratory testing in our product environments. We are looking for a self-starter who can help us shape our testing strategy to ensure we ship bug-free and quality software. Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify and test the functionalities of our web applications.
Execute a variety of test cases, including functional, regression, and usability testing.
Participate in code reviews from a QA perspective, focusing on user experience and functionality.
Identify, document, and report bugs and defects clearly and concisely.

Learn and apply QA methodologies and best practices to ensure thorough testing.
Assist with maintaining and improving our test automation processes.
Identify, document, and report bugs and defects clearly and concisely.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and tools in the QA space

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
2 years of hands-on experience in a QA testing role, with a strong focus on web applications.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles with a focus on QA processes.
Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Bugzilla, Jira).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for Quality Assurance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

A strong understanding of Regression, Usability, Exploratory and User Acceptance testing principles
A good understanding of Javascript, Node.JS is a plus
