Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in JavaScript frameworks to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions that drive our products forward, from frontend user interfaces to backend server-side logic.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate business objectives into functional software solutions.
Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using backend frameworks like Node.js, Express.js, to power our applications with robust server-side logic and data processing capabilities.

Architect and optimise database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval, leveraging technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis..
Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in full-stack development, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our technology stack and development processes.

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks.
Demonstrated expertise in production-level React development, including component-based architecture, state management, and UI/UX design principles.
Solid understanding of backend development concepts and production experience with Node.js and Express.js, including asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and database integration.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including database design, optimization, and ORM libraries.
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
Experience with deploying and maintaining applications on AWS
Experience integrating 3rd party APIs
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence are a plus.
