Senior Geophysicist Uganda job at Worldwide Recruitment
Job Description
On behalf of a oil major WRS are searching for a Senior Geophysicist for a capital project in Uganda. The role will be offered on a annual renewable contract and working residential in Uganda.
Role offers:

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead geophysical operations, including data acquisition, processing, and interpretation
Develop and implement geophysical workflows and techniques
Interpret seismic, gravity, and magnetic data
Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to integrate geophysical data
Provide expert advice on geophysical matters
Mentor and train junior geophysicists
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Bsc in Petroleum Geosciences
Minimum of 10 years of experience as reservoir Geophysicist with practice in the following competencies: seismic QC,
processing/inversion, structural interpretation, Time-to-depth conversion, well preparation, uncertainty analysis,
reservoir characterisation.
Significant Exposure to well operations.
Experience in the use of seismic interpretation platform is a strong plus. Fluent in English mandatory.
Demonstrated team spirit, solidarity, strong coaching & communication skills, commitment & efficiency, work in multidisciplinary
and multi-cultural teams.
