Job Description
International Programs INPRO was established in 2005, and works on impact and performance evaluations, surveys, and qualitative data collection, among other research activities, throughout the developing world. Our research covers a range of sectors including education and training, child and youth well-being, democracy and governance, agriculture, water and sanitation, infrastructure, housing, finance, and health. Since its establishment INPRO has implemented projects in more than 90 countries
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the design of sampling, survey instruments and data collection protocols.
Conduct data cleaning, management, and analysis which will likely include advanced statistical analysis, especially in the case of evaluations or studies.
Support training of enumerators.
Support the preparation of technical reports for evaluation activities by providing programming support and analysis.
Conduct data quality assessments, ensuring that data is of high quality.
Conduct quantitative data analysis and manage large and complex datasets
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelors or Master’s degree in statistics, sociology, economics or related field.
Experience managing large datasets including conducting data quality assessments and data cleaning tasks.
Experience conducting data analysis, including descriptive summary statistics as well as regression analyses.
High-level of knowledge of data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, SAS, etc).
Experience with survey design.
Experience working on data collection projects.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a large team.
Familiarity with USAID performance data information systems, or other such systems;
Experience administering data collection trainings to a diverse range of stakeholders; and
Experience communicating research/evaluation findings to external stakeholders or clients.
